Portuguese Tasting Evening.We are now taking bookings for this our first event of the year.

Thursday 8th March. Venue will be at Olive Stores Brenchley.Sarah and her team will prepare the tapas that will be enjoyed with the wines on show from our friends Raymond Reynolds.

Danny Cameron will be our guest speaker,be prepared for what appears to be a great evening with wine and port from across the country.

EVENTS FOR 2012.

Good news we are now in the process of updating and puting together a series of tastings/themed evenings within the store for the next few months.Portugal and the secrets about their wines inc Port.A tapas evening to celebrate and launch a new range from Spain,very limited spaces for this as we have a waiting list.The most exciting news is that we may be able to put on a Bordeaux evening but this will be very special if we pull it off?

10th June 2011 – Cigar, Cognac and Rum evening, in association with Hunters & Frankau and McKinley Vintners.

Attendees to this popular event had the chance to sample some fine Cuban cigars and see (and sample) our great selection of brandy and rum. Great feedback and all that came are clamouring for another night, perhaps a dinner evening, which we will try to accommodate later in the year.

18th March 2011 – Whisky tasting evening

This event was very well attended and started with a very interesting brief history of whisky by local resident John Dixon. This was followed by a tasting of several Scottish whiskies hosted by Lorri Fishlock from our supplier Gordon & McPhail.

18th/19th February 2011 – Grand opening and wine tasting

A weekend where we had a whole variety of wines from around the world available for tasting across the entire two days. The Saturday also included the “official opening” of the store by Tenterden Mayor Alan Sugden who attended with his wife, the Mayoress, Jean.
