Liquid Pleasure is the trading name of The White Vin Man Ltd registered in 2003 by Ian Florey the owner of the ‘original white van man’. Our aim is to share a passion for wines with our customers. We offer a wide selection of wines from around the world both through our website and our retail outlet in Sissinghurst Kent. Most of the wines that we offer for general sale are not readily available on the High Street; they are destined for ‘On Trade’ sales to Up Market Restaurants, Hotels and Wine Bars. We are also able to offer a selection of wine that we import ourselves directly from the producers, giving us an even greater exclusivity over our competition.

Ian first worked for Unwins in Tunbridge Wells, and after a short time with the company rewarded with a flagship store in Frant Road. After building up a great store he was soon whisked away to their Head Office as the New World Wine Buyer, working with the likes of Bill Rolfe, Gerald Duff, Bob Maybank and Ian Dobson the honest and likeable gentlemen of the wine trade. From here Ian chose to move from Unwins and work at SPAR UK. In 2003 he decided to go it alone and open his own shop in Sissinghurst, Kent creating the Liquid Pleasure brand. |

Joe first came to work for the company in 2003 as a sales assistant, before leaving to go to University in Shropshire. He returned this autumn after graduating and we are very much looking forward to seeing what more he has to offer the company since expanding his education both academically and with alcohol! |
